How do I register for courses at other colleges?St. John Fisher College is part of the Rochester Area Colleges (RAC) Consortium. Full-time students may take a maximum of two courses during the Fall and/or Spring semester at any of the participating schools without charge. This program does NOT apply to summer school. This program does NOT apply to summer school. Students must be taking at least 12 credits at Fisher and paying full-time tuition during the semester in which they wish to take a course at another school. When do I get my mid-term or final grades?Mid-term and final grades are only available on Fish 'R' Net. When is the Registrar's Office open?Regular hours-Monday-Friday from 8:30-4:30. How to complete a Petition for Graduation?All students expecting to graduate must complete a petition to graduate form. It is available online or from the Registrar's Office. If necessary, you can call to have a petition mailed to you. A $100 graduation fee is charged to all graduating students. I have forgotten my pin, what should I do?You must contact the Registrar's Office so that your Pin may be reset. You may call the office at (585-385-8015) or send an e-mail to registrar@sjfc.edu. If this is the pin you received from your advisor, you will need to contact your advisor or the administrative personal in that department. How do I sign up for a Senior Audit?Students who are close to graduation may request a senior audit by calling or stopping in to the Registrar's office. Those students who expect to graduate in December may begin requesting audits at the end of the preceding March; students who expect to graduate in May or August may begin requesting audits approximately June 1st. Degree requirements vary by admission, you MUST know the year of the College Bulletin that you are following when requesting an audit. I never received a schedule in the mail, how do I find out where my classes are?Class schedules are no longer mailed before the start of each semester. Log on to Fish 'R' Net and use the Student Schedule Day and Time Option or the Student Detail option to view and print your schedule. How do I get a transcript?How do I request approval for transfer credits?If a current Fisher student would like to take a course at another institution and transfer the credits back to Fisher, they should complete a Transfer Credit Request form in the Registrar’s Office BEFORE the course is taken. The Registrar will let the student know whether or not the course will transfer; the student will also then know how the course can be applied to their Fisher record (i.e. as a core requirement, a major elective, etc.) I want to withdrawal from college, what do I have to do?If you have not course registered you may e-mail the office at, registrar @sjfc.edu, call the Registrar's Office (585-385-8015) or send a letter to the office.
